Can’t resist the pralines

The day after Halloween, we made a trip to Savannah.  I’ve talked about it before . . . I’m not a big fan of Savannah.  Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with it, but there is nothing special either.  BUT, what is special are the pralines!  I LOVE THEM!!!  We had a trouble-free trip down; we stopped at a McDonald’s with a play area, so Will got to run around.  It made for an easy car trip.  Once we were there, we went to the waterfront to have dinner.  Unfortunately, we ended up at a place that was way more fancy (and expensive) than we had planned.  But once we were in there and set up with a high chair, we felt weird leaving.  On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at the Savannah Candy Kitchen where they had buy a pound, get a half pound free of pralines!  I was in HEAVEN!!  Too bad they were all gone before we got back to Charlotte.  Will had a blast playing in the hotel.  We always stay at the same place, and Will and I enjoy breakfast the next morning while Jim was doing interviews.  It was a short, but nice trip.  One the way home, we stopped at a bunch of places looking for a play area (they should label them on the highway food signs), and finally found another McDonald’s with one.  Play areas are our saving grace these days!

Someone put food in the tunnel at McDonalds, so I had to climb in and get it out before Will ate it all. :)

As soon as we checked in, the first thing he did was climb, by himself, into the bathtub and start playing.
