Pumpkin Carving

Typically, we don’t carve our pumpkins.  I cut the tops off and scoop out the guts because I love to bake and eat the seeds, but we don’t make faces.  I’m not artistic or patient enough, and Jim has no desire.  But this year, our next door neighbors invited us over for a pumpkin carving party.  It was 3 sets of neighbors and kids.  They take it very seriously . . . a drimmel is involved.  Dee-Dee and Grandaddy were back to help us out again, but we headed over to enjoy getting to know our new neighbors.  It was a great time.  Will LOVED to play with the pumpkin guts!  He is truly a boy!  He also liked to steal the lids to the pumpkins and take bites out of them.  Seriously, the kid will eat anything.  We had a great, short-lived time.  Will melted down close to his bedtime, so we had to come back home. 😦  Thanks Team Sloan for inviting us!
