48 weeks and 11 months

Will is 48 weeks and 11 months old.  I canNOT believe that Will is 11 months old.  He has become a big boy overnight.  He walks every where now.  He can even walk, stop, walk, turn, and keep walking.   The only time his crawls, is to crawl over to something to pull himself up, since he can’t just go from sitting to standing yet.  He has started saying, “ba ba ba ba ba.”  If you say it, he’ll even repeat you.  We also changed out his car seat this weekend, so he now rides in his big boy seat.  It makes me a little sad, but my baby is growing up.

Will developed a case of hives this week.  He started with a little rash on Wednesday.  We didn’t think much of it because it could have been an irritation from anything.  By Thursday morning, his body was covered.  (I’ll include a picture.)  I called the doctor because I figured that they would say, “give him some Benadryl and see,” but they said to bring him in.  Too bad once we went in, they said, “give him some Benadryl and see.”  I should have gone with my gut.  😦 Oh well.  They don’t have a clue what caused it.  We hadn’t given him any new foods, not used any new lotions, or done anything off of our routine.  The doctor said that some babies are just more prone to it than others.  It may come and go over the next week or two, and he may get it several more times while he is little.  Luckily, it doesn’t seem to bother him at all.
