We had no intention of going to Utah until we arrived in Arizona.  We have a habit of traveling somewhere with big plans on how we’ll spend each day and then we learn about something cool that we want to go do, so we leave our hotels empty a couple of nights and book new places in other locals!  This time, it was Utah!   We went to Monument Valley and Moab for Arches National Park.  There will be separate blog posts for those two awesome places.  Per usual, we never regret our decision to go someplace else that is really cool!  While driving through Utah, we saw some neat things.  One of which was the Mexican Hat.  I don’t know if I would make a special trip to see it, but since it was on the way, why not?  Since Moab was not a scheduled stop, we couldn’t get a hotel with a crib, so we got a room with two beds and put up all of our bags and even a chair from the room as boarders.  Will slept pretty well considering the strange arrangements.
